International Research

PSNCET arranges Summer training Programs in technical institutions abroad or its students with two-fold objectives; it satisfies the curriculum requirement for a 60 day summer training program and exposes students to a different learning environment, culture and society which helps broaden their outlook and boost confidence.

The institute, in Technical collaboration with TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF KAISERSLAUTERN, Germany and INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, Madras.

The institute facilities student’s final semester project works in communication Engineering, Computer Science and Industrial Mathematics at IIT Madras and Technical University of Kaiserslautern, Germany.

Training & Placement

The students are provided with opportunities to undergo hands-on-training with many corporate firms and research institutions. The training wing also caters to the skill development of students. PSNCET has constituted a communication and personality development cell to train students. A dedicated career guidance cell conducts seminars and workshops on various career options. The department of training and placement, the marketing division of the college is doing the following functions and responsibilities.

Nurtures Industry interaction, by organizing and coordinating frequent industrial visits, in-plant training and projects of industrial relevance for the students, with the sole aim of zeroing down the hiatus between the industry and academia.

Receives and forwards the feedback pertinent to curriculum improvement from the visiting companies to the faculty, to ensure that the curriculum follows the latest industrial trends.

Helps every student define/her career interest through individual expert counseling.

Makes available updated database and job profile of the companies and thus helps each student analyze and choose the company of his/her interest. The department has in its active file a database of many companies.

Organize and coordinates campus placement program, to fulfill its commitment of providing a job to every aspirant.

Canteen

Good palatable, planned and hygienic food for breakfast and lunch (unlimited) at nominal cost. Courteous and pleasing service.

Medical Centre

A 4-bedded medical centre, equipped with basic infrastructure provides medical attendance to the staff with the facility of a visiting qualified medical expert and physician and a full time nurse on the campus.
