The Department was started in the year 2008 and it offers three-year full time D.E.E.E course. The goal of the department is know how in the field of Electrical Design, Operation and Maintenance of Electrical Machines both Conventional and Advanced Techniques such as PLC, Computer Aided Electrical Design, Micro controller and Embedded systems and prepares the young engineers to face the global challenges that are taking place in their field. The department has signed MoUs with few leading industries to develop industry - institute interaction for the benefit of students.

Laboratories

Electrical Engineering department has full-fledged lab facilities and it fulfills the academic needs. Our department consists of Electrical Machines Lab, Electronics Lab, Wiring and Winding Lab and Control of Electrical Machines Lab. These laboratories are equipped with motors,generators, measuring instruments such as Voltmeters, Ammeters, Watt-Meters, CRO, Function Generators, Trainer Kits, Multi-Meters, Winding Machines and Testing Plants to educate the well-developed students to achieve the latest trends. The laboratory facilities are available to design any control module for any specific requirements.

Class committee is formed to disuse the problems faced by them.
DELNET Facility is made in the library to improve their academic excellence.
Students are made to involve in the NSS Programme.
Students are made to participate in the Students ISTE and IE Chapter.
