Hostel
Living in halls of residence is a brilliant opportunity
to make a lot of friends “The word ‘hostel’ does not
describe a place; it describes attitude, a philosophy, a
coming together of culturally diverse people sharing the
wonders, high and low, of the traveling adventure.” the
residential concept at the PSNCET halls of
residence/hostels is to simulate home conditions thereby
creating a warm and welcoming communal camaraderie
between guests. This is with the intention of providing
the students with the most atmospheres to pursue their
studies in comfort.
There are separate hostels for men & women students.
Most students like to share the room with their peer
which provides them an opportunity for developing closer
bonds of friendship. The hostel is a well organized,
supervised environment where students co-operate and
learn to live together. Well-designed and managed hostel
can do a lot to bring out the natural ease, joy, and
camaraderie of hostlers.
As
PSNCET hosts large families of students from around the
world, all efforts are made to serve a wide variety of
food to satisfy diverse palates. Modern kitchen
implements for mass production have been installed & the
food is served in hygienic and sanitized conditions. The
Mineral water plants are installed in the hostels to
provide the students with the safest drinking water.
Rules have been framed keeping in mind the local culture
and tradition, with a view to guiding and helping
students to attain standards of impeccable conduct.
Therefore, while residents enjoy the maximum freedom, it
is ensured that is always within the framework of
standard guidelines and procedures, which helps to
create an atmosphere of amity and peaceful co-existence.
TV &DVD facilities are provided for the inmates for
entertainment. There are central gymnasiums and
facilities for playing both indoor & outdoor games for
both men and women. Both the hostels also have reading
