Preamble
The PSN College of Pharmacy was established in October
2006 as a charitable institution with a prime ambition
of affording opportunities to young men and women to
equip themselves for employment and contribute to the
technological development of the nation. The college is
growing day by day and emerging as one of the foremost
Institutions in TamilNadu.
The college is located in a congenial atmosphere, about
20 Km from Nagercoil city, spreading over 20 acres of
sprawling campus on the Ramnathichanputhur. The college
has excellent infrastructure facilities like spacious
building, fully equipped laboratories for each
discipline, computer center with internet connectivity,
workshops and well-qualified, experienced and dedicated
faculty. The college offers four years B. Pharm Course
ith the approval of All India Council for Technical
Education.
Bacheol of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
Pharmacy is emerging as the most crucial part of
healthcare by spreading its reach into newer
technologies such as process Biotechnology,
bioengineering, nanotechnology, computer drug design,
etc. The programmes give a thorough grounding into the
subject through class room theory, intense laboratory
practice and motivated research projects.
Elgibility Ceiteria for B. Pharm
Admission to the first B. Pharm Course is open to
students who have passed HSC (+2) or equivalent exam
with not loss 45% of marks in aggregate in the subject
PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY and BIOLOGY (Botony & Zoology) or
Mathematics.
Practical Training
A practical training in Pharmaceutical Industry and
Hospital ward & Pharmacy are being arranged by the
institution.
Computer Centre
Computer and Internet facilities are available to
all Students.
Library and Reading room
The College Library is well stocked with more than
the prescribed books in PHARMACY and allied Subjects.
International, National Journals and Magazines are
available in plenty.
