PSN College of Education was established in the year 2007 and is being administed by the PSN Educational and Charitable Trust. This College is affiliated to Manonmaniam Sundaranar University. The duration of the course is one year. The College presently offers the following optional in the

Eligiblity for Admission

Candidates should have secured a minimum of 45% in Part-III of the UG degree, in the subject for which admission is sought. In the B. Ed course for SC/ST candidates the eligibility requirements is a pass in the relevant UG degree course.

Teaching Practice

The Students are given practice in teaching for a period of 30 days in the best High schools in Tirunelveli District.

Guides Training

A basic Guides Captain Training programme is provided for a period of seven days in order to develop in the trainees, the basic qualities of an Indian citizen.

Counselling Services

Our college is also having provisions for counseling and placement services. In order to develop their personality and communication skills seminars and discussion are held by resource persons. Career information services are also available in our college.

Library

Our Library is well equipped with more than 5000 books on all Subjects. It is kept open from 7 am to 10.30 pm on all days. National and International Journals and Magazines on different subjects are available in our Library.

Hostel Facilities

Separate Hostel accommodation for boys and girls with amenities are available. Accommodation in the hostel is available to the needy. The hostel functions under the supervision of the warden and separate deputy wardens. Special veg, non-veg. foods according to the convenience of the students. STD/ISD Facility provided.
